The dictionary defines a disciple as "a person who learns from another, especially one who then teaches others". Jesus commands his followers to "... “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations… teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you…” (Matthew 28:19-20) Discipleship is a responsibility we take seriously. It is also a process where we challenge believers to mature and grow as followers of Christ seeking to do his will. We have regular Mens Discipleship classes on alternating Sunday mornings, as well as dicipleship classes throughout neighboring cities.
Sunday School classes take place every Sunday morning at 9:30 am. Everyone is welcome to join us as we study in depth, the Bible and all that Gods Word has to offer. It is important to not only study Gods word individually, but as a church body in order to pursue Gods will for our lives.
The Bible states in (Proverbs 22:6)"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." With the abundance of sinful influence in todays world, it is crucial that we provide our children a Godly foundation. In Childrens Church, it is our goal to present the Gospel in such a way that children can understand the basics of Christianity and the Bible.
Home Bible studies are held throughout the city every Friday night during the winter months. This is a great time to not only study the Word of God in smaller groups, but also gives the opportunity to fellowship with other believers.
Jail Ministry is held on Saturday afternoons in both mens and womens sections of the local jail. This ministry has proven to be a fruitful outreach tool over the years. Testimonies of men who have undergone true conversion can be found on our Testimonies page
